Welcome to my About Me page! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my journey and passion for empowering individuals to live healthier lives. As a certified Nutrition and Weight Management coach, I firmly believe that everyone deserves the tools and knowledge to take control of their well-being.
Unlike some fitness enthusiasts, I don’t consider myself a super athlete or someone who spends hours lifting heavy weights at the gym. I have never been involved in extreme sports either. In fact, I began my professional career in finance, working in a highly stressful environment. To cope with the pressures of my job, I often found solace in indulging with colleagues over drinks and food, seeking temporary relief from the stress.
During that time, I identified myself as a junk food vegetarian, consuming everything except meat. Unfortunately, this eating pattern left me feeling constantly tired, irritable, and lacking in energy. I can relate to the struggles many face when attempting to shed excess weight through trendy diets that promise quick results but often lead to disappointment. I even recall trying a diet that involved consuming a substance reminiscent of chalk, though the name escapes me. Rest assured, I’ve experienced the frustration firsthand.
At my heaviest, I weighed in at 101kg (210lb). That was the tipping point. I resolved to explore healthier lifestyle changes that could restore my energy levels and help me shed the extra weight. My weight is currently 80kg. This journey inspired me to pursue certifications in Nutrition & Weight Management and Wellness Coaching, driven by my deep interest in healthy living.
My ultimate goal is to liberate individuals from the confines of restrictive dieting mentalities and introduce them to a straightforward, evidence-based approach to healthy living and sustainable weight loss, devoid of gimmicks. Through my coaching, I guide my clients to reconnect with their body’s innate signals of hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. Together, we work towards fostering a healthier, long-term relationship with food and exercise.
